Well I sat down last night to cover a wooden box but I ended up making this cute little bird in a cage instead.
I took a store bought bird and embellished her a bit with new beaded legs and fancy tail and, of course, a crown.
My 6 year old daughter said I should have titled it "No Cats Allowed" instead of "I Love You".
Why didn't I think of that? Sometimes she floors me with her ideas. I think that's a great idea. I'll just have to make another one for her.
I do love this little project. I'm so glad the wooden box project didn't pan out. Now i'm off to find the perfect spot for her.
